Common questions
- A document came back wrong. Open the document in Kovan and re-scan it — extraction improves a lot with a flat, well-lit photo and no glare. If it still comes out wrong, send us the photo and we'll fix the parser.
- I want my records on a second device. Kovan works without an account, but that record then lives only on that device. Add an email address (or Sign in with Apple) under More, and your pets sync.
- I can't sign in. If you registered with an email, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. If Sign in with Apple or Google is failing, email us.
- How do I manage or cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- How do I delete my account? Open Kovan → More → Privacy & Data → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — pets, documents, images and health records are all removed.
- How do I turn analytics off? More → Privacy & Data. Analytics stays off unless you opted in, and you can withdraw consent there at any time.
- The emergency QR page isn't loading. Check that the QR page is still enabled for that pet — it can be switched off, and rotating the code invalidates any tag you printed earlier. If it's on and still failing, email us the link.
